One of the ways that this year's Global TV Awards differ from last year is that the voting is spread across three ballots, arranged by parts of the world. In part, that's due to the fact that there is an increasingly large number of nominees, making one list incredibly large. But it's also a reflection of how many Americans view non-English language content. Some people are more interested in programming from Asia, others from Latin America. So hopefully, this split will make it easier for many voters.
And a note on how the lists are compiled. They include every eligible title, arranged by category and then by specific country if there are enough titles to warrant that. For example, there is a general APAC group for scripted dramas, but also specific ones for countries such as Japan and South Korea.
